Looking at these, I don't think I have ever seen teazles whilst in flower Doug! A beautiful picture with such fine detail. Thank you for the information. You can see how they would do the work!

Much appreciate your visit and kind comment Rosa. I wish I had found this one about a week earlier, the flowers would have been in better condition. They are not common here in the north and are, I think, biennial. A fairly long wait until I get another chance of a picture!
