Venedig abseits des Touristenstroms - Venice away from the tourist stream

In der Hochsaison wird Venedig geradezu überschwemmt von einem enormen Touristenstrom, der sich vom Bahnhof bis zum Markusplatz zieht. Abseits des üblichen Touristenwegs findet man aber auch noch das originale Venedig mit seinen Weinschänken, kleinen Trattorien und Geschäften. Es scheint, als ob hier die Zeit stehen geblieben wäre. Also erst einmal die Hauptattraktionen im Zentrum ansehen und dann in die Seitenstraßen eintauchen! Die Aufnahme entstand auf einer Radtour von Bozen nach Venedig.

In the high season, Venice is nearly flooded by an enormous stream of tourists that starts from the railway station up to the Piazza San Marco. But apart from the usual tourist route, one also finds the original Venice with its wine taverns, small trattorias and shops. It seems as if the time has stopped here. Thus, first look at the main attractions in the centre and then dive into the side streets! This picture was taken during a bicycle tour from Bolzano to Venice.
