Not sure what this is, I assume it's fungi of sorts. Very small, very yellow in the moss.

We went out to Brede High Wood looking for Bird's Nest Orchid. Its been seen there but only one, and only once.
We didn't find it but we did find some nice Helleborine sp of plant, we will go back to see exactly which one this coming weekend.

Its really hard to get nice close shots of these flowers, I've tried every which way, but I don't mind this too much, although a exiting or entering bumble would have been nice lol

Sunglasses required to look at this long, these are so gorgeous and I had them take over an entire planter we have this year. Wouldn't normally allow that as they are not native but so attractive. My other planter is full of native poppy.

Rescued this plant from a task day at our local park, from a wet meadow we work on a lot. I love the shape of these flowers.

Not the usual resting position for this moth, the larger the moth the more time they take to warm the muscles for flight.
So they open like this then vibrate for a bit before taking off.
You can see through the lower ends of his wings, this is actually normal for this species.

One of our larger moths, this is not the usual view, you can see that furry body. This is a male. You can see those huge antenna, and the lovely color of of the veins in the wings.

Usually get one of these a year. You can just see the strip on the shoulder which gives it its name.
