A total solar eclipse is such a special experience, it's hard to put into words... It's great that you got to experience it, too.

I was able to witness a few total solar eclipses; at the time, I was still a member of the Swiss Astronomical Society, and they always organized interesting trips.
Later on, those trips became too expensive for me, so I started going on my own.

But unfortunately, these days, parties are often held in many places to celebrate this natural spectacle ... but during solar eclipses, I need peace and quiet, I need to be able to look at nature, observe wildlife, feel the change in temperature, and so on.

Truly stunning.
