I wish you all a pleasant week... with this bench in the shade of the Saarburg (which, given the current weather, is perhaps more pleasant than sitting in the sun...).

It is one of the oldest hilltop castles in western Germany (built around 964).
From here, there is a beautiful panoramic view of the town of Saarburg and the Saar Valley.

Morgens ~~um 7 ist~~ um 09:15 war die Welt noch in Ordnung bzw. die Temperatur noch erträglich ... und vor allem: der Parkplatz ist gleich nebenan.
Musste fast keine Höhenmeter zu Fuss absolvieren ;-)

Yeah, in winter I prefer to be somewhere in the south (like Thailand or Portugal) and enjoy the winter sun there ... I don't like winter here in Central Europe anymore (just cold, gray, dark, and wet).
