Genau so kenne ich es :-) Home, sweet home :-))
Die frühen 1980er Jahre sind ja nicht weit von den späten 1970er Jahren entfernt. In dieser kurzen Zeit hatte sich noch nicht viel verändert in Toronto.

Aktuell hat sich m.E. vor allem in der Gegend von Waterfront / Harbour vieles sehr positiv verändert ... kleine Parks zum Relaxen oder für Freizeitaktivitäten, es gibt Badestrände (man muss nicht mehr unbedingt nach Toronto Island ;-) usw.
Auch sonst hat sich Toronto verändert, aber das geschieht in jeder Stadt und ob's positiv oder negativ ist, ist auch noch Geschmackssache ...
