... aber die Berge hier sind halt schöner, interessanter, beeindruckender, wilder ... weil kanadischer. Und schliesslich bin ich seit Jahren kanadabegeistert :-)))

Nöööö, Spass beiseite: Was vielen Besuchern nicht auffällt ist, dass hier in den Rockies -im Gegensatz zu den Bergen in Europa- die Alpweiden (Almen) fehlen. Es geht in der Regel direkt von Wald in Felsen über. Und das ergibt für uns das 'spezielle' Bild ...
