Or Kölsch! Have you heard of that beer?

A beer would do just as well Frank.......but I've not heard of Kölsch before :-)

Kölsch is a light, clear (filtered) and top-fermented full-bodied beer with an average original gravity of 11.3 °P and an average alcohol content of 4.8%. To be called ‘Kölsch’, it must have been brewed in Cologne. Until the second half of the 19th century, there were around 100 local breweries in Cologne, most of which brewed top-fermented beers. The first Kölsch in the modern sense has been brewed since 1906 by the Sünner Brewery, which first used the term “Kölsch” to advertise its light top-fermented beer in 1918. The Second World War marked a turning point in beer consumption. By 1946, there were only two breweries left in Cologne: Dom and Sünner. Afterwards, the number of Kölsch breweries grew again to 24. Today, there are probably still 10 breweries in Cologne. Most of the beer is probably sold directly in Cologne and the surrounding area. Here in Chemnitz, 500 km away, where I live, I have so far only seen ‘Früh-Kölsch’ and ‘Gaffel-Kölsch’ on sale.

I rarely drink alcohol nowadays..........but enjoy the odd drink on special occasions.
