Limone sul Garda liegt am Fuße imposanter Berge am Westufer des Gardasees. Die kleine Altstadt zeichnet sich durch verwinkelte, blumengeschmückte Gassen und eng aneinander gebaute Häuser aus. Der Ort war bis 1932 nur über den Wasserweg erreichbar, bevor die Uferstraße Gardesana gebaut wurde.
