Die Pegnitz ist ein Fluss in Franken, der sich nach einem fast 113 km langen, insgesamt südwestlichen Lauf in Fürth mit der linken Rednitz zur Regnitz vereint. Auf dem Fließweg mit seinem längeren und auch wasserreicheren Oberlauf Fichtenohe ist er über 127 km lang.
