Red Bull's aerobatic team over the Kitzbüheler Horn (Tyrol, Austria). See video (PiP).

The squadron was practising there for the opening of the Hahnenkamm race next weekend. Unfortunately, I only managed this mobile phone snapshot, on which the two accompanying alpha jets are missing.

Die Staffel übte dort für die Eröffnung des Hahnenkamm-Rennens am kommenden Wochenende. Leider gelang mir nur dieser Handy-Schnappschuss, auf dem die beiden begleitenden Alpha-Jets fehlen.

Als ich seinerzeit die Maschinen im Hangar 7 besichtigt habe (Jan 2013), konnte ich mir nicht vorstellen, dass alle dort gezeigten Exemplare noch regelmäßig "in die Luft gehen"!

Besonders die P-38 wirkt auch am Boden noch sehr elegant:

Da bleibt genug übrig für solche - nicht ganz uneigennützigen - Hobbies.
