Die alte Seilbahn hatte 35 Jahr auf dem Buckel. In der Zeit hat sie 90.000 Personen unfallfrei in 14 Minuten vom Tal auf den Berg gebracht. Sie war technisch am Ende.
Wenn die neue Banh auch 35 Jahre hält, und es dann noch Schnee gibt, wird sie bis 2055 in Betrieb sein.

Das ist oben auf der Ehrenbachhöhe (1.804m) bei Kitzbühel.
Nicht weit von hier stürzen sich in einer Woche die weltbesten Skifahrer mit bis zu 153 km/h beim Hahnenkammrennen zu Tal:
