Boarischa Krautmo club has replied to JanI like that you have done a vertical photo. It feels perfect for the subject - showing that you really stopped and thought about the subject before taking the photo.
I struggle to slow down when I use my digital cameras. Do you have ways to get yourself to pause before clicking the shutter? Do share!

Apart from that I try to avoid unnecessary stuff - so seeing a scene means very often to go closer to get a narrower image.....
But to be honest: I tend to click the button too fast, too. Maybe I should always carry a tripod with me... ;-)
