1962 Austin A35 - OFF 296

I just love these old Austins ... I always think they look so comical, like they belong in a cartoon!

This honest looking old Austin was actually up for sale and will surely have found a new home by now.
1996 Rover Mini Sidewalk - P430 LUY
|
|
|
The "Sidewalk" was produced by Rover between 1994 and 1996. There were only 1000 of them produced making them quite a rare little car.

1921 Dodge Tourer - SV 5456

|
|
This fabulous looking 1921 Dodge Tourer was imported from the USA to the UK in 1991, when it was fitted with a 2-litre Ford Pinto engine and gearbox for ease of maintenance and reliability.
First time I can remember ever seeing one of these over here!

For this week's Sunday Challenge which has the theme of gadgets .
This is a second generation iPod Shuffle which despite its limitations proved to be hugely popular. Launched in 2006, it was described by Apple as "the most wearable iPod ever" thanks to the new built-in belt clip and the fact that it was less than half the size of the first generation model. It was also extremely light, with the entire device including the clip only weighing around 15 g.

Back to cars tonight, but still feeling a little creative so I've had a bash at producing an arty farty type edit on a shot I took of the 1932 Model B's engine at the Hurworth Classic Car Show back in 2013 .
This was taken after the rain csame on a bit heavier that day so I'd swapped the Nikon D90 over for my trusty old Olympus C-370 Zoom.
Not in the same class as the big D90, but it still produces good detail shots ... even more so if they're going to be tweaked quite a bit like this one.

Another bit of abstractness for you based around a photograph I took for The Sunday Challenge last year.
You can see the original square crop I used in the Notes.

I've seen this particular car a few times now and never tire (no pun intended) of seeing it!

Now this old Morris might not set your hearts a racing as much as the hot rod from earlier, but these old 'landcrabs' do still have a certain appeal.

Despite my many years attending car shows I've always been pretty poor at distinguishing a Model A from a Model B.
I think this is a Model B, but I'm not 100% sure. What I am sure of is that it isn't a 1949 Prefect, which is what the AutoTrader site thinks it is. I'm also sure that it's one of the cleanest hot rods I've seen at local shows in quite a while.
UPDATE: Thanks to Renegade53 for confirming it's a 1932 Model B.

Orb For Ann ...

Don't get too excited this is just a little quickie for demonstration purposes, produced using a screen shot of one of Ann's photos so not as sharp as it might have been were it created using the original.
Still, hopefully enough to let her see what they offer and why I thought her photo would lend itself to being 'orbified'.
For anyone who hasn't seen Ann's original shot simply follow the link below:

Okay, I lied, maybe just one more abstract today.
This time it's another orb of sorts. A square crop of the original shot as taken by me can be found in the Notes.
