Best View of Matterhorn
The overwhelming mountain panorama on the Gornergrat attracts many tourists to the vantage point at 3,135 metres above sea level. They all want to take a look at the 29 four-thousand-metre peaks, especially the Matterhorn and the Gorner Glacier, the third longest glacier in the Alps.

For protection, there are some stone fences or walls here at this altitude so that no one can fall ;-)
