Cycling from Bordeaux Vineyards to the Atlantic Coast/ Hourtin / PiP
The first messengers of the near water, soon we will reach the Atlantic beach at Hourtin.
Hourtin is a French municipality in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
Hourtin is situated on an alternative route, the northernmost Way of St James through France.
In the west of Hourtin you reach the Atlantic Ocean, together with the municipality of Carcans share the Lac de Hourtin et de Carcans, which is one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in France.
