Skradinski buk is the longest travertine barrier on the Krka River. The growth of travertine barriers ( see here: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travertin ) at Skradinski buk was caused by the union of the water of the river Krka with the lower stream of the river Čikola at Roški slap and created one of the most unusual and beautiful landscapes of the Krka National Park.
