Sail and Bike Croatia /Nationalpark Krka

The river Krka still looks very idyllic here, but this will change soon.
The Krka has a length of 72.5 km, it rises 3.5 km northeast of the town of Knin at the foot of the Dinarid Mountains and flows into the sea at Šibenik. The upper 49 km are fresh water, the lower 23.5 km are brackish water. The majority of the river is located in the Krka National Park and is therefore protected.
