The last book tries to remember the last time someone read it, tries to remember if someone has ever read it at all. The last book isn't sure what it's about, because it can't open its own pages, the way you've never seen your own organs, and the last book has no other books to ask about what it feals like to be read because that's what it means to be last, and the last book doesn't even know that it's just zeros and ones, hurtling through space, sent into the universe by people who died millenia ago on a planet that's long since been eaten by the sun it revolved around. The last book still thinks it's paper and ink and bookboard and cloth, and if anyone ever picks up the signal, maybe it will be again. /// O ÚLTIMO LIVRO O último livro tenta lembrar-se da última vez que alguém o leu ou até se alguém alguma vez o fez.
