i forgot / everything / i learned // from what i forgot / "i only know / that i know nothing"

i lost everything: // what i got / discovered / or found // and what i asked for // or gave to // - nothing was mine

...

how much i earned // (it was me / that stole me / dis- / bursed / disappeared)

...

i reach the top / of climbing / rotten poor / rich of nothing // therefore / i already play / to all-or-nothing / where i stay / or imply / in this game

...

of love / in peace or war / sir / for giving-and-receiving / i was king / or slave alias / without pain / nor pleasure / "here lies": // nobody // (o my Mother where are you / if / i'm empty / of you?...)

just me alone / i'm / me // only me / alone / without me / i'm / law // i will comply: // i was born dust // lived dust // - also / alone / dust / on dust / only dust / in dust / i will die / alone

tudo perdi: // o que encontrei / descobri / ou achei // e o que pedi // no que eu dei // - nada era meu

quanto ganhei // (fui eu / que me roubei / des- / gastei / desapareceu)

...

cheguei ao pico / da escalada / podre de pobre / rico de nada // logo / já todo me jogo / ao tudo-ou-nada / em que me fico / ou implico / nesta jogada

...

do amor / em guerra e paz / senhor / ou escravo aliás / sem dor / nem prazer / "aqui jaz": // ninguém // (ó minha Mãe onde estás / se / de ti / me esvaziei?...)

só eu só / sou / eu // só eu / só / sem eu / sou / lei // cumprirei: // pó nasci // vivi pó // - também / só / pó / no pó / só pó / em pó / só / morrerei
