Ich würde mir "kleine Geschichten für zwischendurch" ausleihen, da hat man immer wieder was davon :-) Obwohl "Mann und Frau" auch interessant klingt, ich würde es gern im Original "Men and Women" lesen.

I would borrow Sartor Resartus; an author condemned by history for his puerile views on race, and unread now. I read his History of the French Revolution many years ago, and found it vivid and very readable.
