Schwebfliege (Syrphidae) auf Tagetes

These hoverflies are quite harmless and are often confused with bees and bumblebees or wasps. But the hoverflies don't sting!
The elegant hoverflies are the flying artists among insects. With up to 300 wing beats per second they can stand colibrigleich in the air. They can even fly backwards! !Adult hoverflies feed exclusively on nectar and pollen, they are our most important pollinators alongside bees.

You could try the embedded "PicMonkey", aNNA. However, if this is the original, the sharpness would suffer considerably with a correspondingly adapted cutout and would be insufficient for the front page (advertising). Thanks anyway and have a wonderful week.
