The Church of Saint Francis of Assisi is a catholic church on Nikiforou Theotoki Street in the historic old center of Corfu Town. It is one of the oldest surviving churches on the island.
Although its exact year of construction is unknown, the church is thought to date from the middle of the 13th century and was originally an orthodox church dedicated to the Archangel Michael. At some unknown time, the church was granted to the catholic monks of the Order of Saint Francis of Assisi.

The Cathedral of Panagia Spiliotissa is the cathedral of the Kerkyra Metropolis. It is dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God Spiliotissa ("of the Cave"), Saint Blaise of Sebaste, and Blessed Theodora.
The cathedral was built in 1577 on the site of an ancient church dedicated to Saint Blaise of Sebaste. In the 18th century, the cathedral was reconstructed in the Baroque style.
In 1841, the cathedral became the cathedral of the Kerkyra Metropolis of the Greek Orthodox Church.
The two main relics of the cathedral are the icon of the Mother of God Spiliotissa ("of the Cave") and the relics of Blessed Theodora, which were transferred to Kerkyra in 1460.
