Guatemala, Tikal, Complex Q of Archaeological site

Tikal is one of the largest Mayan settlements, the capital of the Mutul kingdom. In the center of the city there are six tall stepped pyramids with temples on top, but smaller pyramids in Tikal are in abundance. The residential area of the city occupied about 60 km². The settlement has hundreds of stone structures, of which only a small part has been excavated so far.
