Norway, Sculpture of Go'Dagen by Tone Thiis Schjetne in Trondheim

Norway, Sculpture of Go'Dagen by Tone Thiis Schjetne in Trondheim
Go'Dagen means Good Afternoon.
The model for Go'dagen was Anna Cornelia Holm, who spent most of her time on the square in Trondheim, or she was sitting on a bench by Nidaros Cathedral. All who welcomed her received a gentle “Go'Dagen” in response.
Sculpture was created in 1980 and is available in two copies: one in Stavanger and one in Trondheim. It is a total of about 175 cm high and cast in bronze. In Trondheim, the sculpture stands just off the square.
