agricultural road on Barther Bodden

With our rented bicycles you can reach all ends of the peninsula well (which is not easy and short enought to walk). The road network has been expanded in recent years, good for tourism purposes. In the quiet water of the sea side opposite the ports are located on the peninsula Fischland Darß Zingst.

The Baltic Sea coast at Zingst

From Ahrenshop until the beginning of the reserve to the "Sundische Wiesen", there are 30 km of sandy beaches. Here you see the beach of Zingst. Behind it, perhaps 8 km away is the beach of Prerow. In the enlargement at the end of the peninsula you can see the two towers of the left which is lighthouse on Darßer Ort.

our Family Holidays in Zingst

For six people, children, parents and grandparents we have rented a house, and here we had a shortage of anything: washing machine and dryer for baby clothes, kitchen or patio in your own little garden. And the way to the beach was not far away.

Zeesenboot

Zeesen boat off the island of Oie. In the background, the town Church of Barth; the provincial town and surround to visit is worthwhile. This was once the second largest harbour of Prussia. This historic nature of the boat is distinguished by its rusty-colored sails. The color of the sail is from fat and tar, with which the sails were made durable impregnated. Originally these boats were fishing boats: the large trawl was in the Old German language called "Zeese". Today, these boats used for tourist only two fishermen are allowed to work so.

Bodstedter Bodden

The reed-lined banks in the foreground are part of the Nationalpark. The lake belongs to the coastal onlet Lagoon Area of the baltik Sea. The houses left behind the lake, are houses of the village Wieck, here is a natural pool and a jetty for guests. Locally, it is possible to rent bicycles everywhere. So we ride on these wheels from Prerow through the beautiful Darß forest via the Village Born. Our return trip brought us back through fields and meadows to the starting point Prewow: The images here are examples of the what to see useing the PDF description in my straem.
