Watching from the Window
A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of something interesting or surprising in the background.
.
At first glance, this is a typical photo of a woman sitting on a chair. In the background, however, is a girl watching from the window, which seems a little spooky.
This is a real photo postcard with a divided back. "R. B. Hunter, LisbellAw" is stamped in ink on the other side, but the card is otherwise unused. Could "LisbellAw" refer to the village of Lisbellaw in Northern Ireland?

I would think that what's written has to be the village of Lisbellaw - there are too many letters to make that a coincidence.
The composition is so charming, with the little girl in the window! Given the exposure time, I would think it must have been carefully posed, right? I do find the little girl's body position a little odd, though. Her arm on the left seems to be oddly disjointed. Do you think she was possibly added after the the woman's portrait?
Either way, it's a very unusual, arresting RPPC!
