I like how the fence and the wonky pole caught my eye, after which the power shovels/excavators led them back to the blue ductwork. After which their attention was caught by the building that looks like a bus station to me, all of these effects creating a powerful sense of moving into the view.

I see that both Rochester MN and Rochester NY are considered by many to be among the best places in the US to live. Americans must love snow, then.

After further checking I find that Rochester MN actually gets far less snow than London ON, which gets less snow than Rochester NY. Thank you. Great Lakes. Anyway, ignore previous sarcasm about Rochester MN. However, I remain climatically happy that I don't live on the southern shore of Lake Ontario or the southeastern shore of Lake Erie (namely, Buffalo). I think all this means Rochester MN is the winner here.

I would say from the buildings here it seems like downtown Rochester is much like downtown London ON.

John, Rochester has some nice, older high-rise buildings, but a lot of downtown always seems to be torn up, like you can't get where you are supposed to be going by car, so you park blocks away and cut through hotels to finally get there. May has taken over much of downtown, for better or worse. It's good to have them an hour away - both to have them, and that this is all an hour away.
