BR0213 BRANDON - KENNEDY'S PHARMACY
POSTCARD
Date: Posted October 5, 1910 to Lunenburg, ON.
Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified
Notation: I really liked the look of this early advertising postcard! There is only one postal stamp on the card & it is Ottawa. So, I am wondering if the card was sent from Brandon to Lunenburg via Ottawa - or if it just happened to be a Brandon card that was sent from Ottawa to Lunenburg?
The message on the front reads; "Say what is the prise of Eggs & Butter out home[?] be sure & keep thanksgiving to go out home[.] I will be out if nothing happens[.] I won't be able to get back so you come out if you's can. Bye Bye" Anna
The message on the reverse reads; "Dear Sister, If you's can spare the potatoes write and let us know when you will send them[.] Say we are getting a couple of barrels apples from out home[.] Say you's can send potatoes with them by freight.[.] How did you get over the flu[?] I haven't got over it yet. It is raining to beet the band to-night. O I hate this weather it makes me home sick. but I got a letter from mother to-day so I don't feel to bad. bye bye Annabelle"
