Kontorhaus Nr. 49:
Der Gehrckens-Hof wurde 1956/57 für die gleichnamige Reederei erbaut. Sie hatte 1955 ihr 125-jähriges Jubiläum gefeiert, aber schon 1988 stellte sie ihre Aktivitäten als eigenständiges Unternehmen ein.
Nur die MS Bleichen - als typischer Stückgutfrachter bis 1970 im Einsatz- ist geblieben und kann heute im Hafenmuseum besichtigt werden.

volker_hmbg club has replied to LutzP clubja, da gibts recht gediegene Mieter in den div Büros. Das ging mir genauso, bis ich mal einfach im 2. Stock geklingelt habe. Als ich am Empfang mein Anliegen vorbrachte, habe ich von den netten Damen im Vorzimmer ganz selbstverständlich die Erlaubnis bekommen.
