Die Alexander-Newski-Kathedrale befindet sich auf dem Domberg über der Altstadt von Tallinn. Benannt wurde sie nach dem russischen Nationalhelden Alexander Jaroslawitsch Newski.
Sie wurde zwischen 1894/1895 als russisch-orthodoxe Kathedrale von Michail Preobraschenski in dem damaligen Gouvernement Estland des Russischen Kaiserreiches erbaut.
