In der Bildmitte der Übergang des Stilfser Joches nach Bormio und weiter Richtung Bergamo...
Mit einer Höhe von 2757 m s.l.m. ist das Stilfser Joch der höchste Gebirgspass in Italien und nach dem Col de l’Iseran der zweithöchste asphaltierte Gebirgspass der Alpen. Es verbindet Bormio im Veltlin (Lombardei) mit Prad im Vinschgau (Südtirol).
