Tja, der Schaden ist extrem groß (ca 3000 ha) und man denkt hier - wie an anderen Stellen der Welt auch - an kommerzielle Ursachen.
Die Natur wird es mit Sicherheit überleben, ob es den Menschen auf Sicht gesehen auch glückt, das eigene Tun zu überstehen, ist extrem unsicher....

Thank you for pointing me to this image, Udo. Yes, the burnt areas will survive here. Eucalypts in particular are very good at fire survival, in many cases their seeds become more active after a fire has passed over the ground and the trees themselves (except in very intense fires) typically resprout. On the coastal strip there has been a little rain about a week ago and already the grasses are more green.
