Sea ice in Bøkfjorden near Kirkenes. If cold periods last longer an icebreaker has to keep the passage free but this ice was thin and no problem. Eis im Bøkfjord bei Kirkenes. Bei länger andauernder Kälte hält ein Eisbrecher die Fahrrinne frei, aber das Eis hier war nur dünn, da kommen die Schiffe ohne Hilfe durch.

Sailing out of Kirkenes on MS Nordkapp there was arctic steam fog over Bøkfjord. At 1.22 p.m. the sun was already going down. Finnmark is in the same time zone as Oslo whereas just over the border in Russia it's 2 hours later (which would fit much better)
