Thank you so much, Amelia! This area always reminds me of Scotland (Loch Eilt). There was no ice (just currents), I don't think this fjord ever freezes.

Wow! That island and trees look completely overwhelmed by the bulk of the landmass behind them. The trees give us a great idea of how high the cliffs are.

The light, especially where it's reflected on the water, is particularly lovely. Beautifully captured Gudrun!

Thanks very much, Keith! This is a classic fjord landscape with the steep sides created by glaciation. At their far end the fjords are very deep but here near the ocean entry the water is more shallow, that's why there are islands and skerries everywhere.
