Die Schiffsschraube wiegt 15,6 Tonnen, wurde ursprünglich als Ersatzteil für den Tanker Maaskerk hergestellt und von Wärtsilä Deutschland dem Museum gestiftet.

Ach du liebe Zeit, das ist ja ein Monster von Schiffsschraube. Als Blickpunkt für das Maritime Museum ist es natürlich ein Eye-catcher.
Irgendwer musste aber richtig Kohle dafür locker machen...

I would not have recognised that as a propeller if you hadn't told us.............perhaps it's because it's completely out of context. It certainly looks impressive and shines beautifully!

I like the red brick architecture of the museum as well. Very nicely composed and taken Gudrun!
