Oooh........frames within frames. Very cleverly composed Gudrun. Lovely lighting and warm colours too. A delightful interior shot.

I like the PiP as well.........also cleverly composed. The highlights and reflections in the gold statue are really lovely.

Thanks very much, Rosa! The KODE museums usually have quite a few works by Munch and some really good 19th century landscapes. Unfortunately they all were "on tour" in other Norwegian museums.... But this building was really interesting!

I think that it is often the case that the architecture is more interesting than the historical details. Door frames through to window frames. I love that elegant staircase, and would love to sweep down it dressed beautifully of course, to make a dramatic entrance. That would enhance things. ;-)))

Herzlichen Dank, Volker! Das Museum ist über viele Gebäude verteilt und hat wohl auch gute Sachen (Munch), aber die Ausstellung hier war eher mau... Dafür hat sich das Gebäude gelohnt.
