Thank you, Herb! They are basically outside all year. in summer up in the nountains, in winter in the lowlands. In bad weather they all stand with their backs against the wind/rain, it looks funny;-)

Islandpferde - wie schön!
Ich mag diese Rasse besonders gerne, bin als Jugendliche auf einem Bauernhof, auf dem auch Islandpferde gehalten wurden, geritten. Auf unserer Hurtigruten-Tour in Norwegen habe ich den Ausflug "Lofoten per Pferd", auch auf einem Islandpferd, mitgemacht. Obwohl es nach ca. 38 Jahren sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig war, auf einem Pferd zu sitzen, war es wunderschön!
