Landegode Fyr

Landegode Fyr was built in 1902, automated in 1989 and listed as a protected site in 1998. The 29m tall iron lighthouse is on a skerry off Landegode Island (18 km north of Bodø) and marks the start of the notorious Vestfjord crossing to the Lofoten Islands.
Landegode Fyr wurde 1902 erbaut, 1989 automatisiert und 1998 als Kulturdenkmal unter Schutz gestellt. Der 29m hohe gusseiserne Leuchtturm steht 18km nördlich von Bodø auf einer Schäre vor der Insel Landegode und markiert den Beginn der berüchtigten Westfjord- Überquerung zu den Lofoten.

Sehr schöne Stimmung, geht dort eine reguläre Fähre vorbei - wohl nicht? Wie kommt man denn da vorbei?

Vielen Dank, Berny! Das ist die reguläre Route der Hurtigrute, die fährt da auf den Vestfjord und nach Stamsund. Die Lofotenfähren fahren südlich an Landegode vorbei. Für das Hotel haben sie sicher eigene Boote.

Excellent. Every element of the photograph is important and they all come together wonderfully. I like the glow on the wall in the centre; and the clouds are magnificent.

Thanks a lot, Old Owl! Cropping most of the rather bland sky over the clouds has helped, as have the rays of the setting sun lighting up the wall.
