Røros Kirke

Røros Church was financed by Røros Copper Works and was consecrated in 1784. With room for ca. 1600 people it is Norway's 5th largest church and is also called Bergstadens Ziir (the pride of the mining town). Please see notes.

Dank dir Lutz! Unter der Orgel ist die Königsloge, ansonsten gab's da noch die Haute Volée wie Bergwerksdirektoren und so...
Das Ausrichten war vor allem deshalb mühsam, weil ich warten musste, bis niemand mehr im Bild rumstand;-)

Danke, Erika! Die Grubenbesitzer hatten eben Kohle (nee, eigentlich Kupfer;-) Die 1600 sind wahrscheinlich auch mit Stehplätzen gezählt, aber sie ist erstaunlich groß.

Sauberes Tonnengewölbe, offenbar mit einer Betonschale. Oder ist das die Holzverkleidung?
Und da haben sie auch noch Lichtschutzteppiche montiert :-)

Grioßen Dank, poly! Das ist Holzverkleidung, im 18. Jh hatte man noch keinen Beton und bei der Renovierung hätte der Denkmalschutz was dagegen gehabt;-) Lichtschutzteppiche- jetzt weiß ich, wozu die Dinger gut sein sollen!;-)

Herzlichen Dank, Rapi! Kostet 50 NOKen und war's wert. Dazu gab's ein Faltblättle in norwegisch und ein kostenloses Orgelkonzert, der Organist übte für Ostern.

Ruesterstaude

Herrlich, diese Rokoko-Kirche mit dem Tonnengewölbe. Das erste PiP erinnert mich sehr an St. Laurentius in Loburg, wo ich schon öfter an Konzerten beteiligt war. Die Akustik in diesen holzverkleideten Räumen ist hervorragend.

What a beautiful church interior, Gudrun. I love the colour tones here. It's usually worthwhile to wait while people get out of the way of a photo, but sometimes I get tired of waiting. ;-)

Thank you so much, Amelia! The church was beautifully light and airy. I nearly got tired of waiting, too, I have several shots with people in the way;-) It wohldn't be so bad if they'd only walk and stand, but I hate to have phone cameras or tablets in my photo;-)

Zunächst mal ist es schön, dass man auch bei Dir immer Informationen dazu sehen kann...das schätze ich sehr!
Die Kirche selbst ist herrlich..ich mag das blau mit den weißen Vorhängen..die evangelische Kirche hier in meinem Ort sieht ähnlich aus!

Merci vielmals, Tanja! Viel konnte ich zu der Kirche nicht finden, beim Besuch bekam man zwar ein Blättchen, aber da steht vor allem drauf, welcher Bergwerksdirektor oder Pfaffe auf welchem Gemälde drauf ist;-)
Das hellen Farben gefallen mir auch, das machte die Kirche sehr licht.

Thanks a lot. Diane! The church and town are a World Heritage site which probably accounts for the good state it's in, it looked quite newly renovated:-) It was rather cold inside though;-)
