Stabben lighthouse was built in 1867 on a small skerry near Florø. It was automated in 1975 and came under protection as a cultural monument in 1999.

Thanks very much, Carol! The beautiful weather cut our breakfast pretty short, I had to go outside;-) The time around sunrise/sunset simply is best for photos:-)

Mehr Haus als Turm trifft tatsächlich auf die meisten norwegischen Leuchttürme zu. Wahrscheinlich reicht die Höhe, um den Schiffen den Weg zu zeigen und die Leuchttürme sind weniger dem Wind ausgesetzt...
