The first time I went to Finland was summer, and "jäätelö" was one of the first Finnish words I learned. And because it was a cone, it was a jäätelö tötterö. ;-))

Hm, I don't know exactly what you want to tell me ... :-]

But I saw that it was written on the cup: JÄÄTELÖÄ ( with an Ä at the end). Is this the plural of jäätelö? :-)

I also do not know what I wanted to tell with that =D

But yes, Scandinavian languages have a lot of funny combinations of umlauts.

Jäätelöä is so called material noun. Like milk. But yes, a little more complicated than on other languages.

Yksi jäätelö... Kaksi jäätelöä...
