But I saw that it was written on the cup: JÄÄTELÖÄ ( with an Ä at the end). Is this the plural of jäätelö? :-)
But yes, Scandinavian languages have a lot of funny combinations of umlauts.
Jäätelöä is so called material noun. Like milk. But yes, a little more complicated than on other languages.
Yksi jäätelö... Kaksi jäätelöä...
