Midland Railway workers' housing off Railway Terrace, designed by Francis Thompson, 1842. The street behind runs at an angle so that, apparently, there is room only for a lobby behind the front door of the house that closes the cul de sac, but the bay window enables a reasonably sized room to be fitted in to the left.
