Now the really bad part. There is no easy way down to the Whitney Trail, which you can see in the upper left corner coming out of the saddle at Trail Crest. Note the two speck like hikers just where the trail disappears behind the ridge to appreciate the scale here. Drew goes for it and leads the way.
