The only pole on this line with multiparts. Xcel has since replaced the switch on the lower circuit with a new, polymer unit.

An old gang switch. Xcel replaced all the poles here sometime around 2017 and the switch went away.

The sub-transmission has long since been downgraded to 13.8kV. These are feeders out of the Oak Park Heights Sub (OPK).

Well I guess this answers my question on what the K-frame replacements look like. The 345kV double circuit on the right ties Xcel's system with a transmission sub in Chisago County.

A riser pole that sticks out like a sore thumb. The pole has since changed to a very light pale grey/brown and Xcel has replaced all the bowl insulators seen here.

Some lines crossing I-39 in Illinois. Interesting how the lattice tower was replaced with an H-frame.

Taken off I-15 North. Some transmission from SCE: 500kV and what I believe is 220kV.

Not the best picture, but it was all I had of that strange dead-end pole on the 34.5kV. Also, note the 4.8kV distribution below.

I thought the double set of multiparts was nice.

Some linework I spotted on my way home a while back. Not sure if the insulators were purposely angled in the wrong direction, but the crew actually corrected them the following day.

A newer arm, featuring glass this time. The small braces are for show on the bottom arm.
