I know, I've been quiet for weeks. I've been on a trip back to the Eastern U.S.: the land of my birth. Hence the title. I saw an incredible sunrise from the plane, since we flew on the red-eye and reached Newark around 6 A.M. But of course all that remains of that beauty now are some cheery tones and my usual snark. So, this ended up featuring all the things which go into that definitive American dessert: banana pudding. To be honest, I'm not all that fond of it, but my husband is. Also, I really wasn't sure about this layout, but I do really love those peaceful blue brushstrokes.
