Cahors - Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials

Slide guitarist Lil’ Ed (aka Ed Williams) founded the first version of the Blues Imperials already in the mid 70s in Chicago. Meanwhile they have have won the Blues Music Award as 'Band Of The Year' twice and tour the globe. In between gigs in Spain and Sweden, they did a great performance on the stage in Cahors, that already started in the early evening hours.

Lil’ Ed is not only known for his great work on the slide guitar, but as well for his eccentric attire. He claims to wear the fez in honor of famed blues musician J. B. Hutto, who was Ed´s uncle and tutor.
