Taillant - Saint-Martin

Compared to the stunning church in neighbouring Fenioux (3kms east, previous uploads), Saint-Martin, the parish church of Taillant, looks sober and simple. A structure the villagers could afford in the 12th century. The tower maybe a bit younger than the nave. The church stands in the middle of the old graveyard and is pretty large for a village with a population of well under 200.
