Moings - Saint-Martin

Moings - Saint-Martin
The place belonged to the Abbey Saint-Étienne in Baignes (16kms south) end of the 11th century, when the (single) nave of Saint-Martin was built. Apse and tower were added within the 12th century. The village of Moings has a population of ~200 who probably would all fit into the parish church.
