Wasn't it a Mighty Time!
"Wasn't it a mighty time, when the storm winds hit our town"
Painted while listening to Theodore Bikel's version of this song originally written about the Galveston (Texas), 1900, flood.
Brings back fond memories of the '67 flood here in Fairbanks/North Pole, the season after which I had to build a new house. & hey, it was actually fun (especially in retrospect) back then when I was 29 but I'd rater not do it all again now. -grin-
